When to come

Treasure Island by season.

Winter (Dec to Feb): 60s and 70s, dry, the Gulf is cool for swimming but the beach is perfect. Peak season, book early.

Spring (Mar to May): the best stretch. Warm water, low humidity, long days. Spring break crowds in March, calmer by April.

Summer (Jun to Aug): hot, humid, afternoon storms that pass in an hour. The Gulf is bathwater. Mornings on the boat, pool-less afternoons under the covered balcony.

Fall (Sep to Nov): September is the locals' secret, hot but empty. October and November cool off and the water's still warm. Boating season runs until about December.
